Successful Launch of Safety Month Kick-off Ceremony and Emergency Drill

1 . Promote Safety Awareness and Strengthen Responsibility Alignment

Hefei Huasheng Pumps & Valves Co., Ltd. and the Shuangfeng Economic Development Zone of Changfeng recently jointly held the “2025 Safety Production Month Kick-off Ceremony and Emergency Drill”, with the theme “Everyone Values Safety, Everyone Masters Emergency Response — Identifying Potential Hazards Around You,” the event aimed to assess the two parties’ capabilities in emergency response coordination and execution during unexpected incidents. It also served to enhance the emergency preparedness, response efficiency, and practical handling capacity within the industrial park.

The event officially kicked off at 9:00 a.m. on May 30th, 2025 at Hefei Huasheng Pumps & Valves Co., Ltd. Attendees included representatives from relevant government departments, local communities, and enterprises within the industrial park.

At the launch ceremony, Mr. He Yujie, General Manager of Hefei Huasheng Pumps & Valves Co., Ltd., delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome to the attending leaders and guests.

He also shared the company’s achievements in key equipment technology development and safety management practices.

2. Simulated Real-life Scenario to Test Emergency Response Capability

The drill simulated a sudden fire outbreak in an office building and covered key procedures such as hazard identification, emergency response activation, personnel evacuation, and joint rescue operations. 

Once the command was issued, the company promptly activated its emergency response plan. The EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) department reported the incident and called for external assistance.

Employees were guided to evacuate in an orderly manner along designated escape routes. Upon arrival, firefighting units collaborated with the company’s emergency team to extinguish the fire and conduct a search and rescue operation, successfully rescuing a “trapped individual” and handing them over for medical attention.

The drill featured clear command execution and seamless coordination, effectively validating the emergency plan and demonstrating the joint rescue capabilities between the industrial park and the enterprise. The expected objectives were successfully achieved.

3.  Strengthen the Safety Mindset and Implement Key Measures

After the drill, Mr. Cao Dongnan, Staff Officer from the Changfeng Fire and Rescue Department, affirmed the effectiveness of the exercise and provided constructive suggestions for further improvement.

Mr. Tao Leilei, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, emphasized that workplace safety is a red line and bottom line that must not be crossed. He called for heightened safety awareness, improved systems and mechanisms, and the promotion of joint governance to build a solid safety defense.

The event also included sessions on first-aid training and hands-on firefighting skills, further enhancing participants’ emergency response capabilities.

By combining simulation drills with training, the event not only raised safety awareness among park enterprises and their employees, but also improved the practical skills of emergency response teams.
